HDFC Netsafe facility really provide boon to all of us in many situations such as in which we want to make a secure transaction online or in case we don’t have credit card. But in some situation their can occur a problem in which merchant is obliged to refund your entire paid amount because of some defect in the product or due to poor service or whatever might be the situation. But in case we had made that particular purchase from HDFC Netsafe card than we will always be in worry that whether we will be able to get refund or not because Netsafe card is one time use only card and after that it get expired. Than answer to this question is YES.
Recently i had tried to purchase a deleting domain from some registrar but they were unable to secure it 🙁 so they refund the entire paid amount to my Netsafe card. I am also in the state of worry like all those who had faced this situation. I contacted the bank but they are unable to answer my query so i decided to wait and after 30 days from that purchase i received my full amount minus some of the currency conversion charges. So i can confirm that refund is possible in HDFC Netsafe service.

Hi, I am also having the same problem here.
I purchased a product from ClickBank.com and after almost 30 days I requested for the refund (as I was not satisfied).
ClickBank refunded the full amount to PayPal and PayPal refunded that amount to the NETSAFE Card, since I used the HDFC NETSAFE card through PayPal.
But the NETSAFE card is now closed, when contacted PayPal, they said that the bank will return the amount to PayPal and that amount will appear in my PayPal account.
But I don’t know when the bank will return the amount.

I MADE DIRECT TRANSACTION THROUGH HDFC NETSAFE CARD WITHOUT USING PAYPAL AND NOW I WANT REFUND FROM MERCHANT.
WILL THE AMOUNT BE STILL REFUNDED TO MY HDFC ACCOUNT?
As you can see from the above article my friend vikas had successfully received the refund.
I am quite sure that you will also be able to receive the refund.
This entire thing works on a network supported by visa/MasterCard so if you create a card and after that it expired with in a day or two but it will not expire from their database.

Your remaining 4500 will be refunded to your bank account at the end of 35 days from the expiry of your virtual card.
There are some fine print in here. If you have used your card on a site which accepts in Indian rupees than it quite sue that you will get full 4500 but in case you had used it on a site which accepts some other currency than you will get somewhat less than 4500 this depends on the currency exchange rate.

There was a time when it take atleast 35 days to revert back but now reversal is much quicker and efficient.
i am also facing same problem waiting for money.the seller had refunded the money with 250 deduction.remaining amount not credited in my hdfc account.
