    As per the news Europeans have already got the ICS update but what about loyal Samsung users in India. Indian users are still demanding for ICS Galaxy R.

    Even i am waiting for ICS update for my Galaxy R. I have checked both OTA and via Kies but to no success. I think it will not be released in Indian as they are now focusing on next generation of handsets like Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Chat.

    Galaxy R will ultimately receive the ICS update because it is Samsung’s list of smartphones which will be upgraded to ICS. So don’t worry and have patience.
    Expected date is fall of 2012

    Nope it was just my guess.
    BTW there is no need to sell Galaxy R as it is a good phone.
