    Intel as you know has recently launched their first Atom based Android smartphone Xolo which was manufactured by Lava in collaboration with Intel. Intel Atom is basically a x86 architecture based CPU which is not compatible with the latest version of Android. Also due to its x86 architecture many of the applications available on Android marketplace are incompatible with this architecture.

    Now as per the latest reports floating in the web world, Intel is doing their best to port latest version of Android that is Jelly Beanto their Atom based smartphones. Google is one of the biggest supporter of Android OS and this move from Intel proves this fact.

    Intel is also planning to launch new Atom based CPU codenamed Clover Trail for tablet computers. Though these tablets will not be powered by Android instead they will feature Windows 8.
